when we were little babies we traveled around the world we had it all at our feet on the palm of our hearts the clocks were frozen in time the future still undone what have i become lately? the question rings & i cannot answer it clearly without blurring my eyes i'm afraid usual patterns will one day rule my life oh my love it's like we're running out of time every hours ticking i don't mind is that something that is not right? but i'm so happy now when we were little babies we were motherfuckers we were noisy we were dumb that's how useless we were but now there's so much distance closer from death than birth & fuck it cuz i don't care cuz the peak is right now & if the price that i'll pay is watching me roll down slowly through mediocrity it was worth it anyhow oh my love (will you ever mind?) if we go slowly hand in hand (together in time) to the darkest seas i think i (oh i think that i) will be glad to live just as long (long as you and i) keep being what we are now.
